Michael Casey has joined The Nam Hai, a Four
Seasons hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam as Resort Manager.
Michael, who has more than 16 years of experience
working with Four Seasons, joins the hotel from the group’s resort
in Langkawi, Malaysia where he served as Director of Rooms.
With roots in both Ireland and
the US, Michael grew up in a variety of settings across three
continents, spending his formative years in Saudi Arabia, Egypt
and the US.
While in Egypt, the family would often brunch at Four
Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence, sparking his interest
in the world of hospitality.
After graduating from the
Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership
(University of Houston), Michael started his career at Four Seasons Hotel Houston, where he joined as a pool attendant and
quickly worked his way up to a managerial position.
Thereafter, he
held leadership roles at The Regent Singapore (formerly a Four
Seasons Hotel) and Four Seasons Hotel Singapore.
Michael is no stranger to The Nam Hai as he
previously served on a special task force with the property.
“This is a truly special property that brings people together through a rare
combination of cultural authenticity, world-class luxury and
heartfelt service,” Michael said. “We aim to create exceptional experiences that
keep our guests coming back year after year.”
When he is not at work,
Michael loves to travel with his wife and is always on the lookout for
new flavours and unique dining experiences. He is also a fitness enthusiast, with a
passion for running and water sports.
