The 24 cluster organisations and SMEs from 10 EU countries constituting the EU delegation had the chance to meet 52 Singaporean organisations in the framework of the EU-Singapore Matchmaking event 2022. The event was organised on 18-20 October at the Singapore EXPO through the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) – an initiative promoted by the Agency under the legacy COSME Programme.

The European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA) of the European Commission, which promotes the ECCP, together with the Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission, accompanied the EU delegation to ensure smooth cooperation and the success of the mission. The event proved indeed a success, with 176 bilateral formal meetings being held between the EU and Singaporean organisations participating.

The matchmaking event was jointly organised by the European Commission and Enterprise Singapore, with the support of the EU Delegation to Singapore and the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry. The main aim was to promote information exchange and networking opportunities for European cluster organisations and their members with counterparts from Singapore.
