Daniel Kerr has joined the Chatrium Grand
Bangkok as General Manager.

With over 24 years of hospitality industry
experience, Daniel, a British national, has enjoyed a far reaching
international career that includes senior
leadership roles with major companies in a wide spectrum of
sectors and countries.

During his career, Daniel has worked with Hyatt in Australia, Langham in Hong Kong, Regus
Serviced Offices (now IWG), and Ovolo Hotels Group, where as Group
Director of Operations he oversaw a portfolio of eight hotel
properties and two serviced apartments.

He moved to Sanctuary Retreats in Myanmar, launching an luxury river cruise ship and laying
the foundations for the company’s future expansion.

That paved the
way for Daniel to join Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours as Group
General Manager with global responsibility for four reservation centres and 200 agents on three continents.

He then successfully
led the 99-suite U Paasha Seminyak, before joining Starbucks as
General Manager for Indonesia which included the launch of the
Starbucks
Reserve Dewata in Bali – the world’s first Starbucks concept store
and the largest Starbucks Reserve in the Asia Pacific.

Chatrium Grand Bangkok, scheduled to officially
open on 28 November 2022, is owned by City Realty, the real estate
arm of the Sophonpanich family.
