nanamica and Dr. Martens are the latest duo to work together for the season with the collaborative launch set for October 20th. The silhouettes are led by the Chelsea boots and the Louis model — both of which channel a rugged design language to stay true to the brands. As a result, the capsule is made up of sturdy and classic silhouettes that are highlighted by nanamica’s updates.

This can be seen in the form of the heel loop and reworked stitching details along the silhouette as well as the navy tonal accents. Creative director of Dr. Martens Darren McKoy tells Highsnobiety that “Dr. Martens has always gone against the grain and 14XX marks a new design chapter of boundary-pushing, forward-thinking workwear for the brand. It’s all about taking the most durable, versatile, and iconic parts of our past and reimagining them for the future. Every 14XX product is an adaptation of a classic Dr. Martens silhouette.”
