The 5th annual Samui Open Beach Volleyball
Tournament will be held on the popular holiday destination of Koh Samui, Thailand
next month.

Taking place from 10 to 12
March 2023 at the Royal Muang Samui Villas on Choeng Mon Beach,
the international event
will be the biggest event of its type to date, with 80 teams
competing in the following four divisions: Men’s 2X2, Women’s 2X2,
Mix 2X2 and Quads 4X4.

Over 120 athletes will take part, representing 28 countries from Europe, North America, South America, Australia
and Asia.

They will be competing for a total of THB 80,000
in prize money which will be awarded to tournament winners along
with trophies, medals, sponsor vouchers, volleyball gear and
apparel.

Spectators will be able to enjoy complimentary entry
on all three days
and can expect to be entertained with not just the professional beach
volleyball play, but also concession stands, volleyball merchandise and DJs.

The tournament will open at
09:00 and draw to a close at around 18:00 daily, with the semi-finals and finals starting Sunday,
12 March from 13:00.

The event will finish on 12 March at
18:00, followed an ‘Appreciation Party’ at Pure Beach Club,
featuring a live band, fireworks, and food & drink specials.

The tournament is organized by BIP,
hosted by Royal Muang Samui Villas and supported by Tourism
Association of Koh Samui (TAKS) and Koh Samui Municipality (Tessaban).
