Yamaha announced the ‘Booster’ and ‘Booster Easy’ electric mopeds for summer 2023. The Booster Easy is a new electric urban mobility model from Yamaha that was designed entirely in Europe and launched in 2023. It is one of the two variants of the Booster line-up, the other being the Booster S-pedelec that can reach higher speeds but may not be street-legal in some countries.
The Booster Easy features a premium Yamaha PWseries-S2 drive unit that provides smooth and natural pedal assistance up to 25 km/h and a range of up to 120 km with a fully charged battery. It also has a rugged aluminum chassis, fat high-grip tires, large-diameter disc brakes, lightweight instrumentation, and compact LED lighting. The Booster Easy comes in Cyan, Solid Aqua, and Tech Graphite color options. Yamaha has not announced the pricing and availability for the new model yet.
