Kenny Chung has joined the InterContinental
Singapore as Executive Chef.

In his new role, Kenny will oversee the luxury heritage hotel’s
award-winning restaurants and bars: LUCE by Davide
Giacomelli, Man Fu Yuan and The Lobby Lounge, as well as the events,
conference and banqueting department.

Of Mauritian roots, Kenny has 20 years
of culinary and catering experience across varied cuisines,
including French fine dining, Mediterranean and European, as
well as Steakhouses, Asian and Indian
Cuisine.

He managed the kitchen at The Imperial Hotel in
New Delhi, and opened independent restaurants in Burgundy
and Provence, France.

Arriving in Singapore in 2009, he joined
Raffles Hotel Singapore before moving on to the St Regis Singapore
where he led high profile collaborations with Michelin-starred
chefs and has a few awards under his belt including leading
Brasserie Les Saveurs to achieve one star in Singapore’s Top
Restaurants 2018/19 Awards.

Prior to his appointment as Executive Chef of
InterContinental Singapore, Kenny spent four
years working as
Executive Sous Chef at Capella Singapore, where he played an
integral role in leading and training the culinary team, developed
menus and implemented operational procedures for the hotel’s F&B
outlets.

Outside of work, Kenny enjoys bowling, fishing and
spending time with his family.
