Nigerian chef, Hilda Bassey, popularly known as Hilda Baci, has confirmed receipt of her Guinness World Records plaque for the longest cooking marathon.
The chef confirmed the receipt of the plaque from the Guinness World Records in a video on her Twitter handle. Baci said she received the plaque on Monday.
She titled the video: “Our plaque is here @guinnessworldrecords.”
The Guinness World Records had on June 13, 2023 officially confirmed Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon in a statement.
It said: “Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.”
