Tesla has created a flat-pack cat house made of corrugated cardboard, which was inspired by its electric Cybertruck pickup and released in China. According to the brand’s Chinese website, the home can carry a weight of up to 7.5 kilograms.
Readers were underwhelmed, with one describing the design as an “entry-level Tesla product”, whilst another joked that “a cat would prefer the box it comes in”.
Other stories in this week’s newsletter that fired up the comments section included Zaha Hadid Architects’ plans for a 210-metre-tall skyscraper in China, a trapezoidal concrete and glass house in Slovakia by Ksa Studený and a concept design by Apollodorus Architecture for a Colosseum-like stadium in Bath.
