Defender Puissance.

This year’s Dublin Horse Show is a very special one for Defender as it marks the twentieth year of its sponsorship of the thrilling Defender Puissance at the prestigious event. The pinnacle of Defender’s commitment to equestrian sport in Ireland, the Defender Puissance returns to the Dublin Horse Show on Saturday, 17th August.

To mark the occasion, Defender’s presence at the event is bigger than ever. On each day of the show, from the 14th – 18th August, visitors to the Family Area can enjoy a unique drive experience in Mini Defenders.

Kids with an appetite for adventure can get behind the wheel of a miniature Defender as they learn to steer and navigate a bespoke course designed just for them.

On Saturday 17th August, Defender owners are invited to enjoy complimentary refreshments in the comfort of The Defender Lounge before catching all the action at the Defender Puissance in the Main Arena.

The Dublin Horse Show is Ireland’s elite equestrian event and the Defender Puissance is not to be missed. The Defender Puissance wall starts at a height of 1.80m, which steadily climbs for each round until it reaches the dizzying height of 2.20m. Each competing horse must clear the Defender Puissance wall, leading to an exciting knock-out finish!

Melanie McCourt, Marketing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Ireland, said: “We are very pleased to be continuing our long-standing partnership with the Dublin Horse Show and the RDS. The Defender Puissance is a highlight in the equestrian and social calendar and we’re proud to celebrate twenty years of partnering with this world class event which plays such an important role in equestrian sport in Ireland.”

The Dublin Horse Show takes place in the RDS from the 14th – 18th August 2024.
