The pharmacy branch of the eCommerce brand will now automatically apply manufacturer coupons to let patients enjoy savings on eligible brand name drugs. The brand has announced it’s working with a range of brands to integrate the functionality right into the checkout experience to expedite savings. The initiative was put forward to help patients take advantage of available coupons, which were found to have low levels of usage.
The company commented on the new coupon initiative saying, “Now, eligible patients can seamlessly access savings on novel, brand-name therapies for the treatment of diabetes, asthma, emphysema, obesity, and other conditions. Amazon Pharmacy will automatically apply these coupons at checkout when eligible, meaning patients no longer have the burden of finding and applying coupons, and can focus on managing their care. No clipping, clicking, or downloading.”
