Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Dr Allen Onyema, has been conferred with a Honourary Fellowship Award by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, CIBN, at its 60th Anniversary Fellowship Investiture in VI, Lagos, on October 21, 2023.

In a statement via its X account, the company said the Fellowship conferment is in recognition of Onyema’s invaluable contributions to the Institute, the banking industry and the economy at large as the CEO of Air Peace.

The Board of Fellows and Practice Licence of the Institute also stated that the honour was in acknowledgement of his peace advocacy, constant promotion of broad nationalism and his several evacuation flights.

Onyema thanked the Institute for the honour and pledged to continue supporting it and using his commercial entities to positively impact the Nigerian economy. He further applauded the Institute for ensuring high professionalism in the banking profession.

Just last month, Allen Onyema was honoured with a Doctorate Degree by the Nigerian Defence Academy for his outstanding service to the nation and humanity in general.
