Air Astana has unveiled plans to resume summer
season flights to popular lifestyle destinations in Greece (Heraklion
on the island of Crete), Türkiye (Bodrum), Montenegro (Podgorica)
and Georgia (Batumi) in early June.
Flights to Heraklion, Bodrum and Podgorica will be
operated using A321LR aircraft (pictured below), while flights to Batumi will be
operated with A320s.
The airline will launch four flights per week
between Almaty and Heraklion on 1
June with a flight time of 6h50m outbound and 5h50m inbound.
Flights from Almaty to Bodrum will start on 2 June
will be operated thrice weekly with a flight time of 6h outbound
and 5h30 inbound.
Thrice weekly flights from Almaty to Podgorica
will take off on 3
June, followed by the
resumption of flights between Astana and Podgorica on 7 June, with
the same weekly frequency. The outbound flight time from Almaty is
6h55m and 5h55 inbound, whilst the flight time from Astana is
6h25m outbound and 5h35m inbound.
Five flights per week between Almaty and Batumi
will commence on 6 June, with a flight time of 4h50m outbound and
3h50m inbound.
With early June marking the start of the busy
summer season, Air Astana recommends that passengers arrive at the
airport at least two hours before departure.
The airline also
encourages travellers to use the online check-in and self-service desks
in order to avoid queues at the airport. Online check-in opens 36
hours in advance of the flight and closes an hour before scheduled
departure.
