With many fans asking if Cup Noodles’ packaging has always been microwave-friendly, the brand issued a humorous PSA starring actor and comedian Craig Robinson to set the record straight.

As a long-time fan of the brand himself, Robinson too says, “I admit that I have popped my noodles into the microwave for a quicker cook.” In the satirical public service announcement set in the Nissin Foods USA headquarters, Robinson shares the good news that fans can conveniently microwave their Cup Noodles meals in the new paper cup—which is polystyrene-free, made with 40% recycled paper, and has an exterior sleeve made with 100% recycled paper.
