China Airlines has unveiled plans to launch direct
flights between Taipei and Prague, Czech Republic.
Scheduled for take off on 18 July 2023, the
Taiwan-based airline will operate the service with two flights per
week using Airbus A350 aircraft configured with 32 Premium
Business Class, 31 Premium Economy Class and 243 Economy Class
seats.
The China Airlines Taipei-Prague service will
depart every Tuesday and Saturday, with the outbound flight, CI067, from
Taipei (TPE) to Prague (PRG) scheduled to depart from Taoyuan Airport at 23:20 and
arrive at 07:10 the following morning after a flight of
13 hours and 50 minutes.
The return flight, CI068, is slated to leave
Prague at
11:05 and arrive at Taoyuan Airport at 05:35 the
following morning after a flight of 12 hours and 30 minutes.
The eastern European city of Prague is the capital
and largest city in the Czech Republic. The “Fairytale City” became the first
to be listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site with its elegant
historic buildings and classical air of mystery. It is also widely
regarded as one of
the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Prague was founded on the
Vltava River which flows through its Castle, Lesser Town,
Old Town and New Town districts. Popular destinations include the
Old Town Square, St. Vitus Cathedral, Astronomical Clock and
Charles Bridge.
China Airlines has built a comprehensive network
in Europe after 40 years of development and Prague will become the
sixth all-new destination to be added.
Existing European
destinations include Frankfurt (Germany), Amsterdam (Netherlands), London (U.K.), Rome (Italy), and Vienna (Austria).
