Uber announces a new slew of updates including teen accounts that are set to roll out on May 22nd. The company will be featuring dedicated accounts in select cities in Canada and the US to help youth travel more safely when they are on their own.
The app notes that only screened drivers or those that are highly rated will be able to be assigned to teens. Drivers will also be able to opt out of the rides and it will also have a series of safety features that are built in including audio recordings.
