Wyndham has expanded its portfolio of hotels in
China with the opening of the Wyndham Shanghai Nanxiang, the third
Wyndham-branded property in the city and the company’s 32nd in
Shanghai.

Located in the Central Business District of
Nanxiang, an increasingly popular business area on the outskirts
of Shanghai, the newly opened property is surrounded by different
transportation networks.

The hotel is also near major landmarks
such as the Shanghai International Circuit, Shanghai Automobile
Exhibition Center, INCity MEGA and The Mall, to name but a few.

In addition to featuring 315 guest rooms and
suites, the hotel offers Chinese and Western dining
options, a lobby bar and access to a fitness center, indoor
swimming pool, parking and free Wi-Fi.

For meetings and events, Wyndham Shanghai Nanxiang
has a 750 sqm ballroom and nine meeting rooms of different sizes.

“Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has always regarded
China as a key strategic market, and the opening of Wyndham
Shanghai Nanxiang is one of our most significant conversion
projects in Greater China,” said Bill Wang, Chief Development
Officer, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Greater China. “With the full
reopening of China earlier this year, we continue to witness
stronger demand for business and leisure travel, and the addition
of this hotel signifies our commitment to offering our guests a
wider range of hotel options across the region.”

In 2022, Wyndham saw a 10 percent net room growth
across direct franchise and managed properties in Greater China,
and the region continues to be a priority across the company’s
portfolio.
