Aptly dubbed ‘Open Jungle House’ this particular dwelling offers 150 square meters of floorspace and is designed across a single floor, where it offers a living room, kitchen, dining area and a bedroom. Incredibly, aside from a mosquito net and some curtains, the dwelling doesn’t offer much protection from the jungle. What it does offer however is rainwater collection, a corrugated roof and multiple seating areas both inside and outside.
While the idea of creating architectural living spaces that break down the division between interior and exterior isn’t altogether new, what makes this jungle home unique is its specific environment, which aims to help the inhabitant embrace nature in all its forms.
