The WD_BLACK SN770M is a new NVMe SSD that is designed for handheld gaming devices and ultrathin PCs. It is the first M.2 2230 SSD from Western Digital, a brand that gamers trust. The SN770M features PCIe Gen 4.0, nCache 4.0 technology, and Microsoft’s DirectStorage support, which enable fast game installations and level loads. The SN770M also offers up to 2TB of storage capacity, which allows users to carry their large game library wherever they go.
The SN770M is available in three capacities: 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB. The 500GB model is priced at $74.99 USD (MSRP), while the 1TB and 2TB models retail for £103.99 and £198.99, respectively. Each model is available now for purchase on Western Digital’s online store, as well as other retailers and resellers. The SN770M is compatible with handheld devices such as the ASUS ROG Ally and Valve Steam Deck, as well as laptops such as the Microsoft Surface and Dell models. The SN770M also comes with a 5-year limited warranty from Western Digital.
