Unlike ordinary whiskies, Wheyskey is made with whey, which is the liquid remaining after milk has been curdled and strained. This is a more sustainable ingredient because the company upcycles domestically produced whey instead of using grains (as traditional whiskey does). The addition of whey also gives the drink a complex flavor of oaky vanilla, toffee, and warm spice notes.
