Dubai-based design studio Ardh Architect introduces a city of hanging pods that are located in the tranquil mountains of Sharjah. The camping experience hangs in the middle of the air between two mountain ridges for adventurous travelers. The Hanging Retreat has a triangular design that suspends from a bridge that connects the top of the mountains that overlooks a common valley.
All of these pods come fully equipped with essential amenities and adds a relaxing element to the remote location. It strays away from the busy city life and has a serene design that is by Ardh with the help of Sharjah’s Investment and Development Authority Shurooq. It also has activities including trekking or cycling tours to bring awareness to the environment around the location.
