Darkest Dungeon II is a sequel to the popular dark RPG from 2016. It is a roguelike game that challenges the players to survive a journey across a post-apocalyptic world with a team of heroes. The game features turn-based combat, character development, and a dynamic stress system that affects the heroes’ performance and relationships. The game is developed by Red Hook Studios and will be released today, May 8, 2023, on Steam and Epic Games Store.
The full version will include new content and features that were not available in the Early Access edition, such as an additional character class, the final two acts of the story, and a prologue mode for beginners. The developers plan to support the game with free updates and modding tools after the full 1.0 release.
