The conceptual ‘Chipp’ rocking chair has been designed by Pranay Patidar as a decidedly stylish seating solution that prioritizes comfort, while also maintaining a snack-inspired form. The chair takes the Pringles snack chips as inspiration and features a three-part construction that consists of the largest backbone portion responsible for rocking, the chip seat and the smallest chip on the rear that prevents backwards tipping. The chair thus maintains an almost abstract appearance from afar, but would provide a truly comfortable spot to sit when looking to relax.
The conceptual ‘Chipp’ rocking chair offers impressive functionality, but also makes a tongue-in-cheek comment about the couch potato by providing them with a literal potato-inspired spot to relax. The chair is imagined with a sculpted wood form to fit in well with existing decor.
