Zhipeng Qiu and Yufeng Lin created a unique crib design that appears to be a simplistic modern crib, but it can be transformed to serve other functions in the home. The designers took into consideration the lifespan of a crib, noting that conventional cribs can only be viable until a baby turns 3 years old.
Once these are outgrown, they become obsolete so they set out to create a more practical concept. This crib can transform into a chair to promote more resourceful perspectives in design with a highlight on eco-friendly methods and sustainability. By repurposing the crib, it reduces waste and also creates a more circular design practice. In terms of the aesthetic, it is seamlessly blended when altered.
