This in-app game is being launched by Klarna in celebration of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 as a way to get fans in on the action and score some prizes as a result.
The Scream for your Team game works by having players scream as loud as they can, which is then measured in terms of decibels and translated into a kick at the goal. Players who score three goals in a row will be entered into a draw to win one up several Nike gift cards worth up to £250. The game takes a somewhat unorthodox approach to gameplay, but takes the sports viewing experience into account to get participants excited.
The Klarna in-app game is available now to play in the UK, but only for a limited time.
