‘Day One January’ (DOJ) launched a crowdfunding campaign for its upcoming luggage wheel protectors titled ‘Caster Shoes.’ The company describes Caster Shoes as shockproof shoes for your wheels, as the cover absorbs the impact of bumps and ridges on the floor, such as on cracked or unpaved floors.
One appeal of the Caster Shoes is that they are eco-friendly. DOJ manufactures these wheel covers out of food-grade silicone, which is non-toxic and recyclable at end-of-life. On top of this, the Caster Shoes have a convenient design that allows them to be easily removed and attached to luggage wheels, making it easy to clean and maintain the product.
The Caster Shoes are currently available for preorder via the company’s Kickstarter campaign with prices beginning at $19 USD.
