Qatar Airways has launched flights between Doha
(DOH) and Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS) in Germany.

The airline will operate the route with Boeing 787
Dreamliner aircraft featuring 22 seats in Business Class and 232
seats in Economy Class.

Flight QR085 is scheduled to depart from Doha at
08:00, arriving in Düsseldorf at 12:45.

The return leg, QR086, is slated to leave
Düsseldorf at 15:25, with arrival in Doha at 23:20.

“Düsseldorf Airport now has one more great
long-haul flight connection,” said Thomas Schnalke,
Chairman of the Airport Management Board. “Qatar Airways is one of
the most renowned airlines worldwide. Their decision to include
Düsseldorf in their route portfolio is a confirmation for our
location. For business travellers as well as for vacationers, the
new route is an asset. We look forward to many years of successful
cooperation.”

Qatar Airways currently offers services to Munich,
Frankfurt and Berlin, making Düsseldorf its fourth destination in
Germany.

In July 2022, the airline increased its
flight frequency from Frankfurt to thrice daily, and the launch of
this Düsseldorf service further demonstrates Qatar’s commitment to
the German market.

Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief
Executive, said, “We are delighted to launch
direct services to Düsseldorf, expanding our services in Germany,
and marking our entry to the Ruhr region – just in time for the
FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. With this new service, not only will
German passengers enjoy daily flights from a new location, but
customers in the nearby countries of Belgium and the Netherlands
will also have access to over 150 destinations across Africa, Asia
and the Middle East.”
