The Dragon Handcrafted Range from South Caernarfon Creameries is a series of products from the UK-based brand that focus on the provenance of the high-quality cheeses. The product range includes the Cavern Platinum, Cavern Ruby, Cavern Emerald and Cavern Onyx, which are a vintage cheddar, Welsh red Leicester, leek-blended cheddar and an aged cheddar with Penderyn whiskey, respectively. The cheeses are each matured in the Llanfair slate caverns in North Wales and are making their debut now at a variety of major retailers in the UK.
Managing Director Alan Wyn Jones spoke on the Dragon Handcrafted Range from South Caernarfon Creameries saying, “We wanted to emphasise the cheese’s provenance and heritage with the new brand and flavours aimed at the luxury end of the market. We wanted to make delicious and rich tasting products by adding a real depth of flavour to our Dragon cheese.”
