ASRock showcased its 2023 lineup of ‘ASRock NUC Box’ mini PCs at CES 2023. This lineup includes the ‘NUCS BOX – 1300/D4,’ the ‘NUC BOX – 1300/D4,’ and the ‘NUC BOX – 1300/D5.’ Each PC in the lineup is available with either the Intel Core i5-1340P or the i7-1360P for a small upcharge. The main differential between the three models is the RAM speed, available storage options, and the availability of interface ports.
The two more affordable options, the D4 models, come with up to 64GB of 3,200Mhz DDR4 RAM, while the D5 model is available with 4,800Mhz DDR5 RAM, which significantly increase the general operating speed of the computer. Additionally, the NUCS BOX – 1300/D4 only features 2x HDMI 2.0B ports for video, while the two more expensive models are equipped with Display Port 1.4a, meaning these models can output higher resolutions at quicker refresh rates.
