The PULSE Elite wireless headset is a new product from Sony that aims to deliver lifelike gaming audio for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation Portal. It features planar magnetic drivers that reproduce sound with near perfect accuracy along the entire audible spectrum, as well as a lossless and lightning-fast PlayStation Link wireless connection that supports 3D audio and ultra-low latency. The headset also has a retractable microphone, a built-in long-life battery, and a companion charging hanger that can be attached to desks or walls.
The PULSE Elite wireless headset is expected to be available for pre-order in November 2023, with a suggested retail price of $149.99 / £129.99 (AU$335). It will also come with a PlayStation Link USB adapter for use with PS5 consoles, PC and Mac. The headset will be compatible with Bluetooth devices as well, allowing users to switch between different audio sources seamlessly. The PULSE Elite wireless headset is designed to offer a premium gaming experience for PS5 and PlayStation Portal users who want to immerse themselves in soundscapes packed full of rich, subtle details while deep bass lets them feel each epic in-game encounter.
