The experience of searching for one’s suitcase at baggage claim upon arrival at a destination is notoriously stressful, which is something these sushi suitcases are intended to help change.

Conceptualized by Yujeong Shin, the suitcases maintain the hard-sided form that many travel cases today feature to effectively protect personal items from damage. The exterior shell is finished in three different colors that transform each of the cases into a different kind of nigiri including salmon, egg and eel varieties. The final result is a charming piece of luggage that’s easy to spot on the carousel at baggage claim.

The sushi suitcases draw inspiration from conveyor belt sushi restaurants and would no doubt incite smiles from fellow travelers at baggage claim if ever manufactured.
