Pierre Tavernier has joined the Hyatt Regency
Danang Resort & Spa as Executive Chef.

Pierre commenced his career in 2005 and has since
worked with Michelin-starred
chefs in leading restaurants in France, Australia and Switzerland,
where he honed his trade and gained a reputation for crafting
exceptional cuisine.

His first stint in Asia came in Thailand where he
worked as Chef de Cuisine
at Meatlicious by Gaggan, a famous restaurant in Bangkok,
before joining the Hyatt family for the first time in 2016 as Chef
de Cuisine at Park Hyatt Bangkok.

Having impressed during his
five-year spell at this flagship hotel in the Thai capital,
Pierre was appointed to the role of Executive Chef at Hyatt
Regency Koh Samui in 2021.

Pierre has now moved to Vietnam to share his
expertise with guests of the Hyatt Regency Danang Resort & Spa, where he will be
responsible for overseeing the resort’s extensive F&B operations,
comprising six diverse restaurants, bars and lounges, plus in-room
dining, banqueting and catering services.
