Japanese designer Junya Watanabe has unveiled pearl necklace-attached sneakers called the ASH Pearl Sneaker. The sneakers are inspired by glam rock styles with an eccentric twist on modern-day sneaker styles. The sneakers are also synonymous with Junya Watanabe’s other wildly designed fashion items, such as the Green Solar-Powered Coat.
The ASH Pearl Sneaker represents Junya Watanabe’s design style and reflects his contemporary perspective on modern fashion in the new generation. The sneakers arrive in black leather uppers featuring linear mesh underlays and 3M detailing on the tongue tags and lacing system. The sneakers also come attached with synthetic pearls and gold chains across the uppers and over the thick white midsoles. Additionally, the sneaker contains star-imprint gum rubber soles. The sneakers are available for $1,200.
