Thailand’s Minor Hotels has appointed Paul
Stocker as Vice President of Operations for Southeast Asia.

Paul joins the rapidly expanding Thai hospitality
group from Oakwood Worldwide Asia,

now part of Ascott / CapitaLand, where he held a Vice
President role since 2019, helping the Singapore-based operator of
serviced apartments and hotel brands drive key commercial
functions.

With Minor, he has a mandate to help take the
group’s hotels to the
next phase of growth by driving operational excellence and
overseeing commercial processes across following brands in
Southeast Asia: Anantara, Avani, Tivoli, NH
and NH Collection, and the Australian branded Oaks Hotels and
Resorts.

Prior to joining Oakwood Worldwide Asia,

Paul
served as VP Sales, Marketing and Revenue at
Oakwood Asia Pacific.

His other career roles include Vice
President of Revenue Management and Sales for Galaxy Entertainment
Group; RVP Sales at Meritus Hotels & Resorts; VP MICE and Group
Sales at
Resorts World Sentosa; as well as Executive Director of Sales at
Marina Bay Sands where he was part of the opening team.

“Paul brings with him over two decades of knowledge and
deep-rooted experience from across the entire lodging industry,”
said William Costley, Senior Vice President of Operations for Asia
at Minor Hotels. “His sound business acumen will allow him to focus on delivering
stakeholder value and maximising profitability as Minor Hotels
resumes its expansion plans.”

A New Zealand national, Paul holds a Diploma in
Hospitality Management from the Auckland University of Technology
(formerly Auckland Institute of Technology).
