Amazon One, the palm recognition pay service by Amazon Web Services gets implemented to Whole Foods Market locations. It unveils the service for both payment and Prime membership benefits with plans to reach over 500 of its locations in the United States by next year.

Users simply swipe their palms and will not need to rely on their wallets or phones for purchases. They only need to hover their hand at checkout for a seamless and contactless way to pay. Additionally, Prime members are able to link their Amazon One profile to their account and savings will be applied to their purchases. It is currently set in place at over 200 Whole Foods Market stores across a few states.
