The family of Mr. Phillips Oduoza, the founder and Chairman of Nova Merchant Bank, has been thrown into mourning following the death of his son, Emeka Oduoza.
Aged 27, Emeka passed away in New York, USA, in the early hours of Friday, according to a statement by the family.
Until his demise, he held a respected position at Blackstone, one of the world’s leading financial institutions. Emeka was known for his excellence, dedication, and significant contributions within the finance sector in the United States.
Emeka’s career was marked by his unwavering commitment to his craft, a forward-looking vision for growth, and a steadfast adherence to financial principles. Emeka is survived by his parents, Jumai and Phillips Oduoza, his brother Uzoma, nephew, sister-in-law, as well as numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins.
