Trader Joe’s is making at-home baking faster, easier, and, frankly, more fun with its new Mini Chocolate Chip Croissant Swirls.
While there are plenty of ready-to-bake cookies on the market, the new Mini Chocolate Chip Croissant Swirls are something a little bit different. The dough is made by a French bakery supplier who starts who starts with a classic croissant recipe of thin, wheat-flour dough, and alternating with layers of cultured butter. The dough is then cut into long cylinders, and then cut again in little spiral shapes before everything is sprinkled with mini semi-semi chocolate chips. The result is read-to-bake dough that produces crisp, flaky, and golden brown pastries with the taste of melty chocolate chips in every single bite.
