Michelle Yeoh is not precisely looking for a brand new Geralt.
Yeoh, who stars because the honorable sword-elf Scian in Netflix’s The Witcher: Blood Origin, is weighing in on The Witcher‘s controversial determination to recast Geralt from Henry Cavill to Liam Hemsworth.
“I suppose Henry did such a tremendous job,” Yeoh completely instructed E! Information. “Let’s examine what Liam has to convey, proper? That is how it’s.”
Cavill himself first introduced the choice, writing on Instagram Oct. 29, “My journey as Geralt of Rivia has been full of each monsters and adventures, and alas, I can be laying down my medallion and my swords for Season 4.”
The Justice League alum went on to verify that Hemsworth could be taking over the mantle for The Witcher‘s subsequent chapter. The information got here simply days after Cavill revealed that he could be returning to the DC universe as Superman.
Followers weren’t precisely happy by this determination, flooding Cavill’s remark sections with phrases of shock and admiration.
“I am actually not pleased about this,” one viewer wrote. “Why Liam Hemsworth? Sorry to say, however he isn’t an excellent match for this [role].” In the meantime, one other added that Cavill was “actually made for that character.”
