Burger King announced the ‘Bakon King,’ an upcoming range of plant-based, meat-free menu items. The Bakon King lineup will launch on January 4th, 2023, and will kick off with the ‘Vegan Royale Bakon King.’ This is a deluxe plant-based burger topped with a vegan ‘Bakon’ alternative meat product and a plant-based ‘Cheeeze’ alternative dairy product, resulting in a burger that fits multiple dietary restrictions. The Bakon King is also available as the ‘Plant-Based Bakon King’ with dairy products, but without meat products.
In addition to launching the Bakon King, the fast-food restaurant is also bringing back its fan-favorite pork bacon burger, the ‘Bacon King.’ This features real beef and real bacon, offering an alternative option for meat lovers. On top of this, Burger King is offering a buy-one-get-one-free offer on the Vegan Royale Bakon King and Plant-Based Bakon King to celebrate the launch of these sandwiches.
