Endura has launched a high-performance mountain bike helmet that is designed to be able to achieve the holy grain of mountain biking helmet performance in that it is lightweight and well-vented for the sake of comfort, but also features intelligent design that aims to protect your brain from impacts upon suffering a fall.
The ‘MT500’ mountain bike helmet is equipped with a ‘Koroyd’ core that promises reliable impact absorption, with the 3D-designed Koroyd material offering energy absorption without adding undue amounts of weight. The helmet is also equipped with the proprietary ‘MIPS Brain Protection System,’ which works in order to mitigate rotating impacts that are often conveyed to the brain.
Elsewhere, avid mountain bikers can achieve peace of mind in the long-term use of the helmet thanks to Endura’s helmet crash replacement program.
