If you’ve ever wished there was a way to incorporate the taste of ketchup into even more of your favorite dishes, now you can with Trader Joe’s new Ketchup Flavored Sprinkle Seasoning Blend.
As you might have guessed from the name, Trader Joe’s Ketchup Flavored Sprinkle Seasoning Blend is a blend of spices that tastes just like the popular condiment. To achieve this unique flavor, Trader Joe’s has combined tomato powder with kosher salt and sugar. The result is a “terrifically tomato-y Seasoning Blend [that] brings the bright, sweet, and ever-so-slightly umami flavor of Ketchup to anything you can Sprinkle it over.” Because the spice blend is a dry mix, the seasoning is best used as a seasoning for eggs, sandwiches, barbecue, or anything else with a little bit a moisture.
