Viktor Orban accused Brussels on Friday of freezing EU funds supposed to go to Hungary for “political causes”.
In an interview with public radio, the Hungarian Prime Minister accused “Brussels bureaucrats” of suspending Hungary’s EU funds for “apparent political causes.”
“On a couple of elementary points, there are variations of opinion between the EU and Hungary… and it is because of this that (Brussels) doesn’t just like the Hungarian authorities,” he stated.
The European Fee had advisable on Wednesday that billions of euros value of EU funds be withheld from Hungary.
