Franck Droin has been appointed General
Manager of the Mandarin Oriental, Macau.

A French and German national, Franck joined the
Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates in Dubai in July 2005 as
Convention Manager, before moving to Jordan in 2008 as F&B Manager
at the Kempinski Hotels Ishtar Dead Sea.

From there Franck joined the Djibouti Palace
Kempinski as EAM, followed by almost three years at the Hotel
Adlon Kempinksi Berlin where he was Hotel Manager.

Franck’s first appointment as General Manager came
in May 2014 when he moved to the beautiful country of Myanmar,
joining the Kempinski Hotel Nay Pyi Taw.

From there, Franck moved to Bangkok working as
Hotel Manager of one of the world’s most famous luxury hotels, the
Mandarin Oriental. He stayed there for 6 years before briefly
becoming GM of Mandarin Oriental in Vietnam, his most recent
position prior to joining the Mandarin Oriental Macau.

“I am excited to be part of this dynamic and
energetic team in Macau. I look forward to continually elevating
the luxury hotel experiences and service standards in this vibrant
city that never sleeps,” Franck said.

Fluent in French, German and English, Franck
has a Diploma from Les-Roches Hotel Management School in
Switzerland, and a Master of Business Administration in International
Management from Reims Management School in France.
