The Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai has appointed
Ashok Nair as Director of Rooms and Residences.

Ashok has been with the much-loved property in
northern Thailand since 2017, working prior to his promotion as
Director of Experiences.

His career in hospitality first started in 2002 as
Front Office Assistant at the Oberoi Udaivilas hotel in Udaipur,
India.

Over the years, Ashok has also worked at the The
Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, Kingfisher Training Academy and
Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels, before returning to Taj Hotels,
Resorts & Palaces to work in different roles at Taj Falaknuma
Palace in Hyderabad for six and a half years.

“I love observing guests immerse in the simple
joys of life and rediscover the child within. It’s worth all the
effort that goes into curating guest experiences,” Ashok said. “A
nature lover, a wellness enthusiast, a foodie, or for those
seeking retail therapy – Chiang Mai can keep you busy, whether you
are travelling solo, on a romantic getaway or a family vacation.
We often hear guests say ‘time stands still’ when they are with
us, and it truly does. Wrapped in rice paddies and overlooking the
misty peaks of Doi Suthep, the resort offers experiences that are
rooted in tradition and a reflection of the balanced lifestyle
that Thai people are known for.”
