Sofia Coppola and Uniqlo have united for a new capsule collection inspired by the former’s most memorable movie projects, including ‘The Virgin Suicides,’ ‘Marie Antoinette,’ ‘Somewhere,’ and ‘The Bling Ring.’ The collection features T-shirt designs and text inspired by each movie.

Despite her roots in film, Coppola has collaborated with Chanel on multiple occasions, having interned with Karl Lagerfeld as a teenager. In the 1990s, she launched her fashion line called MilkFed, which is currently owned by a Japanese company, manufactured in Japan, and sold in Japan.

The next project for Coppola is Priscilla, a biopic based on the best-selling biography Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley. The Sofia Coppola x Uniqlo collection is available online at the latter’s website.
