Recently, Admiral Sporting Goods Co. released the lookbook for its Spring/Summer 2023 collection and for this season, the brand produces contemporary re-interpretations of some classic and timeless sportswear silhouettes. The capsule is dubbed ‘Flick to Kick’ and the design draws inspiration from football games—a favorite past-time for many.
The Spring/Summer 2023 capsule features “the further development of [the brand’s] already extensive jersey program, as well as the introduction of new flagship styles.” To elevate the classic silhouettes and give them an eye-catching contemporary feel, Admiral Sporting Goods Co. experimented with dye techniques and unexpected fabrication twists. The ‘Washed Out’ series is a great example of this. Drawing cues from 90s aesthetics, this range of garments seeks to “reproduce the look and feel of a vintage garment without affecting the quality.
