Xplora’s X6Play smartwatch was named a CES 2023 Best of Innovation award honoree and it’s the newest addition to the European tech company’s collection of smartwatches. This kid-friendly smartwatch was created to serve as a first cellphone for kids between the ages of four to 11, while still giving kids a balance between screen time and physical activity.

This Consumer Electronics Show innovation for kids boasts a responsive, high-resolution 1.5-inch screen, a 5MP camera for capturing photos and videos, as well as an enhanced battery life so that kids can go days without needing to charge the wearable. Personalization is also a big selling feature of the smartwatch since kids can change out the wristbands and bezels of the device to suit their personal style.

In terms of communication, the device offers a restricted contact list and a school mode to disable notifications.
