Australian audio technology company RØDE has released a new cost-effective wireless microphone called the Wireless ME System. The microphone is the latest addition to RØDE’s massive lineup of wireless microphones. The wireless microphone is designed to be easy for content creators, vloggers, influencers, and mobile journalists at all experience levels rapidly and conveniently.

The Wireless ME System utilizes a similar system to RØDE’s GO II, making it a single-channel system. However, it does not come with backup recording as it is a budget-optional wireless microphone. It comprises an integrated microphone with a single receiver and a clip-on transmitter. With 2.4 GHz digital transmission with built-in encryption, the wireless microphone delivers clear audio signals at a distance of up to 656 feet. There is also a 3.5mm input on the transmitter, which allows connecting a lavalier mic for hidden capture on camera. Additionally, the wireless microphone contains a 7-hour battery life with USB power charging. The Wireless ME System is available for $149.
