The eOne-Forty is a new addition to the Merida performance e-mountain bike family, offering a versatile and agile ride for trail enthusiasts and long-distance riders alike. The eOne-Forty features a carbon frame with integrated cooling fins, a Shimano STEPS E8000 motor with a removable 504 Wh battery, and a mixed wheel size setup with a 29″ front and a 27.5″ rear wheel. The bike has a modern geometry inspired by its bigger brother, the eOne-Sixty, but with a lower stand over height, a steeper seat angle, and a slightly steeper head tube angle.

The eOne-Forty has 140 mm of travel in the front and 133 mm in the rear, making it more uphill focused than the eOne-Sixty. The bike comes with a range of clever details, such as a two-component battery cover, a chainstay protector, an on/off button in the top tube, a charging socket in the down tube, and a KnockBLock headset that prevents the fork from hitting the frame. The eOne-Forty is available in four models, ranging from € 3,999 to € 7,199, depending on the components and the battery capacity. The bike is expected to hit the market in early 2024.
