Being a cyclist in a car-dominant world comes with a range of challenges, and one of those that’s less spoken about is the possibility of being pulled over if your bicycle rack happens to obscure the visibility of your license plate, which is precisely why Kuat has launched an intelligent license plate mount that’s decided to avert this problem.
The aptly-named ‘License Plate Mount’ is an accessory that is designed to be used in conjunction with the ‘Piston Pro X’ bike rack in order to help you quickly and easily mount the license plate to your rack. This mount adaptor is exceptionally easy to set up, as all you have to do is remove the end cap and then hook up the mount.
What’s more, the ‘License Plate Mount’ can be rotated so that you can always place it in the desired orientation depending on whether you’re on the move or stationary at any given time.
